Overview : Un teatro madrileño busca chicas de conjunto para una compañía de revistas de nueva formación. Una de las chicas que se presenta es Catalina, muy espabilada e inquieta, hija de una modista del teatro y Alicia, otra candidata, es una chica inocente que estudió ballet en el extranjero y es hija de la que fue famosa vedette, Cecilia Alcaraz. Pronto se hacen buenas amigas y Catalina se propone hacer triunfar a Alicia. El éxito de Alicia beneficia también a su amiga convirtiéndolas en la pareja teatral más famosa del momento. Pero con el éxito llega el amor, lo que será también un impedimento importante para sus carreras profesionales.
